Dental Bonding is the process where we rebuild all your teeth back to their correct length, returning you to a  harmonious, comfortable and beautiful smile. We work in conjunction with you to achieve the very best results.

What services do we provide?

At Smiles of Ryde, Dr Danilo Strumendo has extensively trained in America and Europe to create exceptionally beautiful and harmonious mouths. The balance of the jaw is essential in dental bonding. It is critical that you look amazing after the process and that the function is comfortable and balanced. Without precise measurements of the jaw and extensive hours of study, there is the risk of all your beautiful teeth breaking down.

Dental Bonding is a very rewarding process when done right. Dr Danilo Strumendo studied at the Prestigious Dawson Academy, where he learnt the art of functional dental occlusion. This is how the upper and lower jaws balance together. Dr Danilo Strumendo will care for you just as he has for so many patients. He will achieve a comfortable, functional and beautiful smile. Dr Danilo Strumendo will also provide ongoing care for your Dental Bonding with your 6 monthly comprehensive examinations and cleans.

What’s the process and steps?

At Smiles of Ryde, our main concern is your comfort and wishes. Before any procedure begins, we give you all the options, including each treatment’s pros and cons.

  • Step 1 – We discuss what you would like out of the treatment, what are your main concerns and what you would like the end result to achieve. We will then do a comprehensive examination and take many photographs and measurements of your face and mouth. We will also take a digital scan of your teeth and x-rays, and measurements of your gums.
  • Step 2 – Dr Danilo will then take all this information and spend around 8 hours with your records. He will study work to find the best options to achieve your Dental Bonding goals.
  • Step 3 – Dr Danilo will see you again for a comprehensive discussion where he will present his findings and treatment recommendations. He will discuss the pros and cons of each type of treatment and discuss your options in terms of materials, time, cost, and procedure breakdown.
  • Step 4 –  Your treatment plan will be arranged and appointments booked in.
  • Step 5 – Each step of your treatment will take place over the coming weeks as decided between yourself and Dr Danilo Strumendo.
  • Step 6 – Dr Danilo Strumendo will provide ongoing care for your Smile Makeover with your 6 monthly comprehensive examinations and cleans.

Dental Bonding Can not be whitened. We recommend whitening your teeth first to achieve the colour you desire and then having bonding placed.

Is composite bonding reversible?

Composite Bonding is reversible in cases where it is an additive procedure. If you have used bonding to change the angulation of teeth, this is difficult to reverse.
