What is Dental Bonding?
Dental Bonding is the process where we rebuild all your teeth back to their correct length, returning you to a harmonious, comfortable and beautiful smile. We work in conjunction with you to achieve the very best results.
At Smiles of Ryde, Dr Danilo Strumendo has extensively trained in America and Europe to create exceptionally beautiful and harmonious mouths. The balance of the jaw is essential in dental bonding. It is critical that you look amazing after the process and that the function is comfortable and balanced. Without precise measurements of the jaw and extensive hours of study, there is the risk of all your beautiful teeth breaking down.

What’s the process and steps?
1
We discuss what you would like out of the treatment, what are your main concerns and what you would like the end result to achieve. We will then do a comprehensive examination and take many photographs and measurements of your face and mouth. We will also take a digital scan of your teeth and x-rays, and measurements of your gums.
2
Dr Danilo will then take all this information and spend around 8 hours with your records. He will study work to find the best options to achieve your Dental Bonding goals.
3
Dr Danilo will see you again for a comprehensive discussion where he will present his findings and treatment recommendations. He will discuss the pros and cons of each type of treatment and discuss your options in terms of materials, time, cost, and procedure breakdown.
4
Your treatment plan will be arranged and appointments booked in.
5
Each step of your treatment will take place over the coming weeks as decided between yourself and Dr Danilo Strumendo.
6
Dr Danilo Strumendo will provide ongoing care for your Smile Makeover with your 6 monthly comprehensive examinations and cleans.

The cost of Dental Bonding varies greatly depending on how extensive the treatment is, the materials you have chosen and the type of treatment solution which will best suit you. At Smiles of Ryde dental surgery, we discuss all your options and the pros and cons of each to ensure you have an affordable, cost-effective and long term solution.
Dental Bonding is a strong solution for building up your teeth. It is a very economical solution where a white composite resin is used to rebuild teeth. With diligent care and regular checkups, dental bonding can last for many years. Dental bonding can be upgraded to porcelain for a long term solution.
Dental Bonding strengthens and reinforces your teeth. It is the process of rebuilding your teeth back to a harmonious and stable dentition. This allows for a more even bite which spreads the load of chewing over all your teeth evenly providing further protection.
Composite Bonding is cheaper than porcelain Veneers. Composite bonding can be upgraded to porcelain veneers for a long term solution.
The cost of Dental Bonding varies greatly depending on how extensive the treatment is, the materials you have chosen and the number of teeth involved. Dental Bonding Can not be whitened. We recommend whitening your teeth first to achieve the colour you desire and then having bonding placed.
Composite Bonding is reversible in cases where it is an additive procedure. If you have used bonding to change the angulation of teeth, this is difficult to reverse. However, we have never had a case where a patient has requested Dental Bonding done by Dr Danilo Strumendo to be reversed. We have had cases where we have removed work done elsewhere and placed more pleasing bonding.
